Here in room 1 we have been gathering data about our favourite things and about ourselves.  We have been plotting this information on different graphs.  We are looking at tally charts, bar graphs and pictograms.  Our colourful graphs are displayed in our classroom, so if you get a chance come on in and take a look.

Harold Comes To Halcombe!

This week we have had Harold visit us to talk about how we can be a good friend.  We learnt that friends...

• care for each other
• say nice things
• help each other 
• listen and show respect
• are honest with each other

We are practicing these things daily inside and outside our classroom.

Having a blast with our buddy class!

Buddy class swim

On Friday we had a fun swim with our buddy class (room 5).  Our big buddies helped us float on our backs, then we dove for objects and played racing games.  Thanks room 5 you are awesome!
